Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale — Plume

Last updated: 1 October 2026 — Version 1.1

What changed in version 1.1: we describe Audio communication, Plume’s voice interpreter, and its AI Pro mode (Articles 2 and 6). We spell out two rules about subscription credits in black and white: they are monthly and do not accumulate from one month to the next (Article 6), and if the subscription is not renewed, the balance of the last month remains usable for 7 days before being erased (Article 7). Credits purchased in the shop, by contrast, remain permanently acquired (Article 8).

Article 1 — Who publishes Plume

SASU RedLine Music, a simplified joint-stock company under French law (société par actions simplifiée) SIREN 938 277 100 — SIRET 938 277 100 00013 Registered office: Abbaye 208-1, 208 Résidence Lavoisier, 18100 Vierzon, France Contact: sogacmoi7@gmail.com

The application is distributed on Google Play under the developer name openfunworld.

In this document, “Plume” or “the application” means the software; “we” means the publisher; “you” means the user.

Article 2 — What the service does

Plume is a writing-assistance tool that runs on Android. It allows you:

Depending on your device and on your choice, processing takes place on your phone or on remote servers. Exactly how your data circulates is described in our privacy policy: https://readit0.github.io/plume-legal/politique-confidentialite.

Plume produces text by means of an artificial intelligence system. The result is a suggestion: it may be inaccurate, clumsy or unsuited to the context. You remain the author of, and responsible for, the text you decide to send. Always re-read before sending.

Article 3 — Acceptance

Installing and using Plume constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the application.

Article 4 — The account

The application can be downloaded free of charge. Some features require an account: this is the case in particular for rewriting and screen analysis, because your quotas and your subscription are attached to your account and not to your phone.

You create an account with an e-mail address and a password, or by signing in with Google.

You undertake to provide a valid e-mail address, to keep your password confidential, and not to create several accounts in order to circumvent the quotas. One account, one personal use.

You can delete your account at any time from the application (Settings → Privacy → Delete my data) or without installing the application, following the procedure described at https://readit0.github.io/plume-legal/suppression-compte.

Article 5 — What you undertake not to do

You undertake to use Plume only to process your own texts, or texts that you are authorised to process.

The following are prohibited in particular:

A response produced by the AI may be refused or filtered if it breaches these rules. In the event of a serious or repeated breach, we may suspend or terminate your access, after notifying you except in cases of urgency or legal obligation.

Article 6 — Quotas

Use of the service is capped, in order to keep the cost of processing under control.

Free tier. You have a base allowance of rewrites per day, without having to watch anything. Once that base allowance is used up, you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock additional uses, up to a maximum number of ads per day and an absolute daily cap. Watching an ad is never compulsory: if you do not do so, you simply keep what you are entitled to, and you get your base allowance back the next day.

At the time of writing, the values applied are: a base allowance of 5 rewrites per day, +5 per validated rewarded ad, a maximum of 5 ads per day, and an absolute cap of 30 per day.

Subscriber tier. The subscription lifts the free tier’s cap and removes the advertising.

Subscription credits are monthly and do not accumulate. The credits for a month are valid until the end of that month: whatever has not been used is not carried over to the next month, when the counter starts again from zero. If the subscription is not renewed, Article 7 applies.

Audio communication. The Local kit mode is free: translation is done on your phone (on the free tier, an ad may occasionally be shown). The AI Pro mode is reserved for subscribers: each translation uses a fixed number of quota units, depending on the target language — at the time of writing, 1 unit, and 3 for a language marked PRO. The cost is shown in the application before use and debited automatically after each successful translation; a translation that fails is not debited. Without a sufficient balance, the AI Pro translation is not performed.

Points common to all tiers:

These values may change. We may adjust them to preserve the economic balance of the service or in the event of a change in the cost of the AI providers. The figures in force are those displayed in the application, which are authoritative: the quota gauge and the subscription screen show your actual balance at all times. Any significant reduction in the quotas of an ongoing subscription will be notified to you in advance and will entitle you to cancel free of charge.

Article 7 — Subscriptions

Subscribing. Subscriptions are taken out from within the application, via Google Play. The prices displayed are in euros, inclusive of all taxes for consumers in the European Union. Google converts and displays the price applicable in your country and your currency.

Prices at the time of writing: €3.99 per month, or €29.99 per year. The price that binds you is the one displayed by Google Play at the time of subscribing.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly), at the rate then in force, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged by Google to your payment method.

Cancellation. You can cancel whenever you want, from Google Play (Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Plume → Cancel subscription). Google manages subscriptions: we cannot cancel on your behalf. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep access until then, and you are not charged afterwards.

Price changes. Any increase will be notified to you by Google before it applies and will require your acceptance, failing which the subscription will end.

End of the subscription. When it expires, your account returns to the free tier. You lose neither your account, nor your personas, nor your settings.

If your subscription is not renewed, your remaining credits last 7 days. The credit balance of your last subscription month remains usable for 7 days from the end of the subscription; after that period, it is permanently erased. The application warns you with a message at the start of this period, with the balance and the deadline. This period does not apply in case of a refund. Credits purchased in the shop (Article 8) are not affected: they remain acquired.

Article 8 — Packs and one-off purchases

Certain content (persona packs, additional quota credits) is sold on a one-off basis, without a subscription.

Price at the time of writing: €2.99 per pack. The price that binds you is the one displayed at the time of purchase.

A purchased pack is acquired permanently and attached to your account — unlike the monthly subscription credits (Articles 6 and 7), it does not expire. You find it again by signing in on another device, and the application’s “Restore purchases” feature lets you recover it if necessary.

Purchased quota credits are used only once your quotas for the period are used up, so that you never pay twice for the same use.

Article 9 — Payment

Purchases are made through Google Play, which handles billing and collection under its own terms. We never have access to your bank details.

Our server merely checks with Google that a purchase is valid before opening the corresponding access. A purchase that cannot be verified confers no entitlement.

The applicable terms of sale, billing and refund are those of Google Play, available in the Play Store.

Article 10 — Right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union, you have in principle a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of subscription.

However, since Plume is digital content supplied immediately, that right lapses once you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal — which is the case when you use the service as soon as you subscribe.

In practice, refund requests go through Google Play, which applies its own policy (in particular the possibility of a refund within 48 hours of purchase, directly from the Play Store). If Google refuses and you believe you are entitled to a refund, write to us at sogacmoi7@gmail.com: we will look into your request.

Article 11 — Availability of the service

We do our best to keep the service working, without undertaking to provide continuous availability.

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, in the event of a failure at one of our providers (hosting provider, AI provider), or if our cost limits are exceeded. The features that run on your device generally continue to work offline, including without a network connection.

We may develop the application further, adding or removing features. The removal of a substantial feature from an ongoing subscription entitles you to cancel free of charge.

Article 12 — Ownership

The application, its interface, its editorial content and the persona prompts are our property or that of our partners, and are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive right of use, which cannot be transferred.

Your texts belong to you. We claim no rights over the texts you submit or over the rewrites produced, and we do not use them to train a model. The personas you create belong to you and remain stored on your phone.

Article 13 — Liability

The service is provided without any guarantee as to the quality, accuracy or relevance of the texts produced by the artificial intelligence.

You are responsible for the use you make of the generated texts, and in particular for re-reading them before sending. We cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a text that you have chosen to send.

We cannot be held liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits our liability in the event of fraud (dol), gross negligence, or harm to life or physical integrity, nor deprives the consumer of the statutory guarantees of conformity provided for by the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).

Article 14 — Amendment of the terms

We may amend these terms. Any substantial change will be notified to you within the application or by e-mail before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

Article 15 — Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy: https://readit0.github.io/plume-legal/politique-confidentialite. It forms an integral part of these terms.

Article 16 — Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law.

Complaints. Write to us first at sogacmoi7@gmail.com: most disputes are settled this way.

Mediation. As a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) free of charge. If you reside in another European Union country, the European Consumer Centres Network can direct you to the mediation scheme in your country.

Jurisdiction. Failing an agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the court of your place of residence, and you have the benefit of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence. No clause of these terms may deprive you of that right.
